The Jets got a bit of a boost on Wednesday when captain Blake Wheeler returned to the ice for a practice in Anaheim. It isn’t clear as to whether he will play today as it was an optional skate although given that he hasn’t had a full practice with the team and is coming off having COVID it seems somewhat unlikely.
Presuming they do not then you are gonna see the 11/7 lineup which they used to win three straight games. We do know that Eric Comrie will be getting his first start of the season and the first start in a Jets net since April 2nd, 2019.
Morning skate:
As per Mitchell Clinton of JetsTV there are no changes to line rushes. He also indicated that Blake Wheeler is skating again for a second straight day.
