Game 7: Jets 6 Oilers 4 post-game recap

The Jets got a measure of revenge on the Oilers with tonight’s 6-4 win as they improve to 5-2-0 on the season and split the series.

With one goal and three assists in the game Nikolaj Ehlers has a five game points streak (5G 5A).  I believe that’s the first time he has a five game goal scoring streak.  He is now tied for 2nd overall in the NHL scoring.

Adam Lowry also extended his points streak to five games with one goal and two assists in the game.  He is up to 4G 3A in 7 games. He had 10 goals total in 49 games last season.

With his 1st period goal Andrew Copp is also on a five game points (4G 5A) streak. His four goals in 7 games puts him on pace for 20+ this season. His best season to date was 11 in 69 games.
