Seems appropriate that this game was 11 years to the day of the Jets/Flyers 9-8 game. That game was chaotic and so was this one as the Jets win it 6-4 over the Kings. They are now 4-3-0 on the season.

Notable:
The Jets were being outshot 5-0 and it wasn’t looking good but Mark Scheifele scored his fifth goal of the season on the first shot of the game for Winnipeg to give the visitors an early lead.
It only got worse as the Kings, with the advantage of some power plays, took complete control of the game outshooting Winnipeg 16-1 at one point and taking a 3-1 lead.
Adam Lowry moved ahead of Bryan Little on the team’s all-time shorthanded list with his eight career SH goal. Sits behind Blake Wheeler who has 11.
The middle frame looked like it would go the same was as the opening period as the home team outshot the visitors 6-0 to start but a bit of a flurry and somehow the Jets ended the 2nd period up a goal.
It was Pierre-Luc Dubois who scored on the power play off a nice fake shot/pass by Kyle Connor and then Mambo No. 5 would be played as a seeing eye shot by Nate Schmidt, his first of the season, gave Winnipeg the 4-3 lead three minutes after they tied it up.
More sloppy plays by Winnipeg allowed L.A. to tie the game early in the 3rd period.
But they would re-gain the lead when Axel Jonsson-Fjallby tipped home a Brenden Dillon shot for a 5-4 lead. It was his first goal for Winnipeg which proved to be the game-winning goal.
The game would be sealed by a Blake Wheeler empty netter.
