Game 66: Jets 5 Panthers 4 in OT post-game recap

Mark Scheifele does it 5-4 for the Jets in OT. Those are a MASSIVE two points for Winnipeg. HUGE. They improve to 37-26-3 as they remain in the second wild card spot but have a six point lead on the Flames now.

Notable:

Heck of a game for newly acquired Vlad Namestnikov as he finished with two goals and one assist. He also prevented at least three goals.

Bad news for Winnipeg as Josh Morrissey appeared to tweak something late in the 2nd. He came out for a single shift in the 3rd but then went down the tunnel and did not return.

Mark Scheifele tied his career high for goals with 38.

Both Adam Lowry and Josh Morrissey are doubtful for tomorrow’s game according to head coach Rick Bowness.
