The Jets are coming off a tidy 3-0 win last night in Seattle that was definitely not over taxing. They left Washington State for British Columbia where they will take on the Canucks and look to keep their perfect 6-0 record in the second game of a back-to-back intact.
The Canucks are likely looking for a measure of revenge given the loss Winnipeg handed them last time they were in Vancouver a few Saturdays ago.
Neither of the players acquired by the Jets have joined the team on the west coast so the likely lineup will remain the same although it’s possible that David Gustafsson comes back in. We don’t know the status of Connor Hellebuyck who was ill but was sufficient to backup last night. Laurent Brossoit only faced nine shots in the last two periods of play so he should be fresh if needed to play in his home province.
Lineup news:
As per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press only two changes. Connor Hellebuyck is good to go and will tend the net and David Gustafsson comes in for Cole Perfetti.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor-Scheifele-Namestnikov
Ehlers-Monahan-Iafallo
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Kupari-Gustafsson
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
Hellebuyck
Brossoit
