Game 60: Jets vs. Avalanche pre-game report

It was a busy Tuesday as the Jets announced that they had recalled Tucker Poolman from the Moose as they will be without the services of Dustin Byfuglien for the near future after he suffered a new lower-body injury against the Avalanche last Thursday and won’t be on this three-game road trip.  Coincidentally, they kick things off in Denver against these very same Avalanche.  Colorado has been in a bit of a tailspin of late but they have won two of their past three (including last Thursday’s 4-1 defeat of the Jets in Winnipeg) as they try to stay within sight of the playoffs (currently one point back of Minnesota for the final wild card spot).

Coach Maurice:  Does the club look recharged and ready to go?  What does he expect from Colorado tonight?  How has video changed the way they handle faceoffs?  Is there still a “feel” element to faceoffs?  Will Ehlers skate with the team during road trip?  On potential to change up the Jets lines.  What is the focus on getting this team ready for the stretch drive?  More on line changes and how he gauges it.  On Trade Deadline talk.  Does his day-to-day communication with GM Kevin Cheveldayoff change at this point in the year?
