Somehow six games into the regular season the Jets will be facing their first Central Division opponent as they welcome the Blues to town for tonight’s unusual 7:45 PM CDT start time. They are doing that because all 32 teams are in action this evening and the NHL has staggered it so there is a game every 15 minutes.
We do know that head coach Rick Bowness won’t be behind the bench tonight as he has taken a leave of absence from the team as he will be with his wife Judy who suffered a seizure on Sunday. The only player missing from yesterday’s practice was captain Adam Lowry, although Scott Arniel indicated it was maintenance.
Skate news:

Betway Odds:
The Blues come to town having won their last game which improved them to 2-1-1 on the season. Like the Jets they have a poor goal differential (-2 for St. Louis, -5 for Winnipeg) as these two Central Division Rivals look to inch their way up the standings and not lose too much ground on Colorado who are undefeated (5-0-0) so far this season.
