Game 59: Avalanche 5 Jets 1 post-game recap

A ho-hum February continues for the Jets (three wins, four losses) as they were dumped by the Colorado Avalanche 5-1 this Friday evening to fall to 35-23-1 on the season (which is somehow still just one point back of the 1st place Dallas Stars).

For those who would like to take a deeper dive into the advanced stats click here to see the results from the game via Natural Stat Trick.

Notable:

Blake Wheeler’s assist on the opening goal for the Jets was his 800th point as a member of the Jets/Thrashers organization. (783 as a member of the Jets 2.0, 17 with Atlanta).

That’s about it.
