The Jets used yesterday as a travel day as they left for Texas to kick off three games on the road starting tonight with a big Central division showdown with the Stars. The winner of this contest will vault into 1st place in the division.
Dallas is coming off a 5-1 loss to Colorado on Tuesday but the big news about the team from The Lone Star State is they traded with Calgary for Chris Tanev on Wednesday which move will bolster an already impressive D core.
The Stars are 4-3-3 in their last ten and an impressive 17-8-4 at home. Of course the Jets counter with a 7-3-0 record over that same time frame and a very good road record of 16-8-3.
The only expected lineup change for Winnipeg is Connor Hellebuyck resuming his spot between the pipes.
