The Jets have seen a fall in their 5 on 5 play of late but their power play has been red-hot, their goaltending remains stellar and they’ve won six of their last seven games. As a result they sit second in the Central just a point back of the Stars with three games in hand.
The Blues were looking like they could be challenging for the 4th spot in the Central but they’ve fallen of late going 5-5-0 in their last ten which has kept them ahead of a hard-charging Wild team but well behind a Predators team that has won five straight and given themselves a buffer of four points on these two clubs.
