Game 56: Rangers 4 Jets 1 post-game recap

In a game the Jets absolutely needed to get some points from they lose 4-1 to Igor Shesterkin and the Rangers despite outshooting the visitors by a wide margin. Winnipeg falls to 24-22-10 on the season and remain eight points back of the second wild card spot.

Notable:

The opening goal of the game by Nikolaj Ehlers was the 150th of his NHL career. That moves him into sole possession of 4th spot in Jets 2.0 all-time goal scoring list. He was tied with Bryan Little.

The Jets almost gave up a hat trick at home for the third straight game… Chris Kreider was looking to join Jason Robertson and Josh Anderson. That’s not good for business.
