The Jets are back in Winnipeg for one game as they play host to the Predators in a Central Division battle. Winnipeg has picked up three straight wins after losing their season/home opener while Nashville is coming off a tough overtime loss in Montreal which saw them give up a late goal (after missing an empty net opportunity) and then giving up the game-winning goal with three seconds left in extra time.
The visitors are 2-2-1 to start the year which is vastly improved from the 0-5-0 start to the 2024-25 campaign. They were actually already in Winnipeg practicing on Friday while the Jets were flying home from Philadelphia.
