Game 5: Jets vs. Hurricanes pre-game report

According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun the lines and D pairs today at morning skate are as follows as the Jets prepare to face the Hurricanes tonight at Bell MTS Place:

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Perreault-Little-Laine
Matthias-Copp-Tanev
Dano-Petan-Armia

Morrissey-Trouba
Enstrom-Byfuglien
Kulikov-Myers

Hellebuyck
Mason

Note: Adam Lowry missing from skate this morning.  Extra D pair appears to be Poolman and Chiarot.

Health Update:

Coach Maurice indicated following skate that Adam Lowry is “out tonight, day-to-day”.  Said they are “quite hopeful that this will be enough to get him back in feeling right on for Columbus.  When asked where the coach indicated it was an “upper.  He had it going into the Van game and it didn’t improve and started to deteriorate toward the end of the game, so we just got to jump on this early.  It shouldn’t be anything long term.”

Audio:

Tyler Myers

Nic Petan

Dustin Byfuglien

Blake Wheeler

Nikolaj Ehlers

Coach Maurice:  Status of Adam Lowry.  What he’d like to see from Byfuglien.  On starting Connor Hellebuyck for the third straight game.  What is he looking for from Joel Armia?  What does he expect from the Hurricanes?  Does he see similarities between the two rosters?  On the challenge of the home game.
