The Jets comeback attempt falls short as Darnell Nurse hits the empty net with 2.1 seconds to play to make it 4-2. They trailed 3-0 and it was too much to overcome, dropping them to 22-19-8 on the season.

Notable:

700th NHL game tonight for Brenden Dillon. Not too shabby for an undrafted defenceman showing the value of hard work.

While the game result left a lot to be desired it was nice to see Bryan Little who was in Winnipeg who got a standing ovation.

Kyle Connor with 29 goals in 49 games for the Jets as the quest for 50 continues for the Michigan Man.
