Game 49: Jets 5 Blues 3 post-game report

Interesting game.  Was close, Pavelec had a hell of a good 2nd period (25 saves snapping his own franchise record for saves in a period) and then Jets put their foot on the gas in the 3rd to break it open at 5-1 before then taking foot off gas and allowing two goals to make it look like it was a closer game than it really was.  Shots were 37-29 in favour of St. Louis although after they peppered Pavelec in the 2nd they didn’t get one in the first ten minutes of the 3rd period.
