Game 45: Coyotes 4 Jets 3 post-game report

It was labeled a must win game but a disastrous six or seven minutes in the 1st handed the Coyotes the win.  The Jets tried to fight back and made it close but couldn’t get the equalizer.  Connor Hellebuyck was pulled for the second consecutive game and fans in Jets land are less than pleased.

The players held a players only meeting for 15 minutes following the game.

Audio:

Mark Stuart:  Any positives to be drawn from the push back in the 3rd?  What’s gone so badly the last few games?  What happened in that span of six minutes of the 1st?

Blake Wheeler:  What happened in that span of six minutes of the 1st?  Do you build on the final 40 minutes?  On the closed door meeting.

Coach Maurice:  What did he see the Coyotes do in that span of five minutes?  What did he like about his team in the final 40?  Importance of Hutchinson’s performance?  On the closed door meeting the team held.  Did it need to happen?
