The Jets returned home last night after being defeated by the Wild for the third time this season. They don’t have any time to lick their wounds as Detroit was waiting for them already comfortably in Winnipeg ahead of the action. Of course the Red Wings are second last in the Eastern Conference and are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games.
We know that coach Maurice is planning on using Laurent Brossoit in net and with the status of Tyler Myers in limbo we will have to wait to see if there are any additional lineup changes.
AM Skate:

Jets projected lines, D pairs and starting goalie:

Lemieux-Copp-Appleton
Morrissey-Trouba
Chiarot-Kulikov
Morrow-Niku
Brossoit

Coach Maurice: What is the news on Tyler Myers? How do you adjust to a lineup without Myers? On getting Sami Niku into the lineup. Who on D helps mentor a young blueliner like Niku? On Kulikov wanting more minutes. What has he seen from the third line and would he consider putting Perreault with Laine to get Patrik going? How would he describe Brossoit’s usage this season? On the factors in play when evaluating scheduling games for Hellebuyck. On adjusting from big minutes in the AHL to smaller minutes in the NHL and how they handle it. Balancing focus with a hunger.

Health Update:
Coach Maurice indicated that Tyler Myers is out tonight with a lower-body injury that he sustained in last night’s game against the Wild. He is considered day-to-day.
