The Sabres were in St. Paul last night and the Wild were anything but Minnesota Nice as they pounded Buffalo 6-2. The Jets will hope their strong home record (14-3-1) at Bell MTS Place continues, as they look to leapfrog the Blues back into first place in the central division, this evening with the 7 pm puck drop.
Random fact: This is the third straight season that the Jets and Sabres play in game #42 for Winnipeg. Buffalo has won the two previous games (4-2 in 2015-16 & 4-3 in 2016-17).

Coach Maurice: Any lineup changes? On the Sabres being pounded last night, does that make them more dangerous? On what they have to worry about from Buffalo? Does he like these games against the same team in close proximity? What is the biggest challenge going into the second half? What area of the Jets collective game did the group improve the most on during the first half? On how far along the Jets defensive process is. How has Mark Scheifele handled the early stages of his rehab? What has he thought of the Ehlers/Little/Perreault line? More on Scheifele’s recovery. Status of Enstrom.
