Game 4: Winnipeg Jets vs Philadelphia Flyers pre-game report

The Jets will look to extend their two straight wins into a streak if they can go into Philadelphia this evening and pick up a third straight win. It appears, based on yesterday’s practice, that they will be getting at least one of Haydn Fleury and/or Cole Koepke back after both had been ruled as day-to-day by head coach Scott Arniel. The only question marks would be Kyle Connor and Gustav Nyquist who both took maintenance days after a day off.

Their opponent this evening picked up their first win of the season in their home opener three days back defeating the defending Stanley Cup champs 5-2. While it is just three games into their season they aren’t scoring a ton but they are also proving stingy in what they are giving up.

Skate news:

As per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press, both Connor and Nyquist are on the ice. He provides the lines and D pairs from skate in which you’ll note Chibrikov has swapped spots with Pearson. He also noted that Chibrikov stayed on late while Parker Ford did not.

Warm-up news:

As per Wieber it will be Parker Ford who draws in tnt.
