Game 35: Capitals 4 Jets 3 in OT post-game recap

Bit of a let down for the Jets after they get the late goal to tie it but didn’t really get going in OT. The Jets start road trip with a single point as they move to 17-12-6 on the season.

Notable:

Kyle Connor scored his team leading 21st goal of the season to open the game.

Rookie Cole Perfetti scored his first ever NHL goal in his fourth game with the Jets.

Nikolaj Ehlers left the game in the 3rd after Orlov hit him knee on knee.

With his 16th goal of the season Pierre-Luc Dubois has doubled his goal total (with the Jets) from last season (in six fewer games).

A late goal gave the Jets a chance for points in this one but they blew it early in OT.
