After facing the Canucks, Flames and Oilers the Hurricanes will end the Canadian portion of this road trip here in Winnipeg where they will put their 10-6-2 road record up against the Jets 10-5-1 home record. Worth noting that Winnipeg has just one regulation loss at Bell MTS Place since November going 3-1-1 in the 11th month and 4-0-0 so far in the final month of the year.
Both the Jets and Hurricanes sport identical 20-11-2 records to date which should make for an interesting contest between these two former south east division rivals.

Coach Maurice: How does the lineup change without Perreault? Luoto in on the 4th line? Hellebuyck in net? Assessment of the Hurricanes. What do you lose without Perreault in the lineup? The play of Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. Was there a thought to make a recall? Teams having fun. What has he heard about Appleton down with the Moose? Guys being in the “right spot”. Is this an area that Patrik Laine has made great gains this season? How much of how the Hurricanes play is similar to how coach Brind’Amour played the game?
