Game 34: Jets vs Capitals pre-game report

The Jets looked like they were going to pull off the impossible up 2-0 over the Bruins last night looking to hand them their first regulation loss this season. But the home team got back into the game through a combination of fortuitous bounces and a generous penalty call although they ultimately deserved to win the game despite how they got back into it.

The Capitals were also in action last night as they won in overtime defeating the Senators 3-2 in Ottawa. The entire NHL will be watching as Ovechkin looks to tie Gordie Howe for second most goals ever in the NHL.

The biggest question mark is whether the Jets might inject Kyle Capobianco or Michael Eyssimont back into the lineup to get some fresh legs into the mix. Also there is the question as to who will be the starter. It seems very likely that it will be David Rittich as Connor Hellebuyck faced 39 shots last night.
