Pre-game news:
Mike McIntyre and Jason Bell, both of the Winnipeg Free Press had an interesting report on Dustin Byfuglien about an hour before puck drop. Read it here.
Quick Thought:
A tough 6-3 loss for the Jets as they looked like they were in the contest but a missed penalty call in the second period followed by an incredible lacrosse style goal by Andrei Svechnikov made a 2-2 game a 3-2 game and the Canes did not look back after that. The Jets record drops to 20-12-2 on the season as they suffer their first loss at home in December.
