The holiday break came at a somewhat inopportune time for the Jets as they had had a very good December (8-1-1) to that point and wanted to keep things rolling. They’d like to continue that tonight when they start the post-holiday portion of their schedule against the Hawks.
With how things were going for Winnipeg seems unlikely that they make substantive changes to the lineup that has performed so well for them
Morning Skate:
As per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets no changes from how things were against the Bruins which isn’t a big surprise.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi
Perfetti-Namestnikov-Iafallo
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Gustafsson-AJF
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
Hellebuyck
Brossoit
Coach media:
To follow.
Betway Odds:
While the adage is that anyone can be anyone on any given night it seems somewhat far fetched when you compare and contrast these two clubs. From a goal differential perspective the Jets are sitting with a +23 while the Hawks counter at -43. This one isn’t all that close as the oddsmakers are giving a big edge to the visiting team.
