The Jets sweep their two-game mini series with the Canucks in Vancouver and move into a three-way tie with the Leafs and Oilers for top spot in the North Division. The win improves Winnipeg to 20-11-2 on the season.

It was an inauspicious start for the Jets as both Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers blocked shots and were in some pain (the Jets captain missed a few shifts) but both finished the game.
