The Jets lost Nikolaj Ehlers (1st period), Adam Lowry (2nd period) and Dylan DeMelo (3rd period) although all three would return in the same period in which they left the bench.
With the secondary assist on the opening goal for Winnipeg veteran forward Paul Stastny picked his 500th career assist in the NHL.
During the 2nd period we learned that the NHL and NHLPA had agreed to suspend all cross-border games until Christmas which will mean that the Jets game in Dallas on Wednesday is postponed.
