Game 3 of pre-season post-game recap: Jets 4 Flames 3 in OT

The Jets had a more veteran laden team tonight against the Flames but it was Calgary and many of their hard working players on PTOs that gave the visitors an early lead in this contest.

The Jets finally woke up in the 3rd period tying the game late in the period (1:01 left) and then winning the game as Dustin Byfuglien put home the Blake Wheeler pass.

Winnipeg improves to 2-1 in the pre-season.  Next game is Sunday night when the Oilers are in town.

Numbers:

– Blake Wheeler scored his first goal of the pre-season;
– Bryan Little tied the game on a nice feed from Seth Griffith;
– Dustin Byfuglien scored his first and second goals of the pre-season;
