Game 28: Jets vs. Blackhawks pre-game report

The Jets and Hawks both won’t skate today as they both played games outside of Chicago on Saturday.  Here are the lines and D pairs used in St. Louis :

Coach Maurice met with the media in advance of the game tonight in Chicago and confirmed that Mark Scheifele would miss his second straight game and that, as expected, Connor Hellebuyck would get the start.

Paul Maurice:  If he could carbon copy that effort today would he?  What did he like about his team’s performance in the first meeting with the Hawks?  Expectations about keeping up the same effort as they did in St. Louis.  Does he feel like they got Chicago at a good time?  Did he have to tap Wheeler on the shoulder to get him to go to centre?  On Wheeler handling the change in defensive responsibilities.  On switching lines up when Scheifele comes back?  On Patrik Laine’s development.  Status of Scheifele.  Surprised that Little can come back and make an impact?  On Laine’s passing.
