Game 24: Jets vs. Blue Jackets projected lines

The Jets are home for tonight’s game against the Blue Jackets and then will head out on the road (after their Skills Competition on Monday) for three games in California.  Columbus sits 12th in the Eastern Conference but have won three straight games.

Winnipeg cancelled their scheduled practice on Friday so we don’t know if there will be any lineup changes tonight.  We shall have to see what happens at morning skate.  For now the projected lineup is based on the last game.

Morning Skate:

As per Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun all players are present and accounted for today at morning skate.  He also indicated that Mason Appleton skated on his own this morning.

Scott also indicated that Laurent Brossoit starts in net.

Jets projected lines and D pairs:

Connor-Scheifele-Laine
Ehlers-Wheeler-Roslovic
Copp-Lowry-Perreault
Luoto-Gustafsson-Shaw

Morrissey-Poolman
Kulikov-Pionk
Beaulieu-Sbisa

Brossoit
Hellebuyck

Coach Maurice:  Assessing the power play since Little’s injury.  Friendly competition between the two power play units.  Status of Mason Appleton?  Update on Gabriel Bourque?  Hockey Fights Cancer.  The difficulty of the 1st period after a road trip.  The Jets taking fewer penalties.  Are they giving up offense in order to ensure they are more defensively sound?  Status of Luca Sbisa?

Lineup News:

“He’s planning on playing, feels he’ll be good to play tonight, but we’ll put seven D in warm-up just to be sure.”  Coach Paul Maurice on Luca Sbisa.
