The Jets win streak was halted dead in its tracks last night when the Canucks scored three times on five shots in the 1st and rode that to a 4-0 win. Winnipeg will get a shot at revenge tonight as they close out this homestand with a re-match against Vancouver. From the sound of Paul Maurice’s post-game last night it would appear Josh Morrissey is going to switch back to the left side which means Tucker Poolman will likely be ready to return to the lineup.
Roster news:
Optional morning skate. Lines and D pairs expected to change in advance of the game. Stay tuned.
Update: Jets coach Paul Maurice confirms that Tucker Poolman comes back into the lineup but wouldn’t say which defenceman is coming out. Poolman will return to a pairing with Josh Morrissey who returns to the left side tonight. He also confirmed that Laurent Brossoit will start in net. He wouldn’t confirm how he will configure his lines so we will have to wait for warm-up skate.
Warm-up news:
Sami Niku comes out.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Stastny-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Dubois-Ehlers
Copp-Lowry-Appleton
Perreault-Thompson-Lewis
Morrissey-Poolman
Forbort-Pionk
