Game 2: Winnipeg Jets vs Los Angeles Kings pre-game report

All 32 NHL teams will be in action throughout the day starting with the Jets and Kings doing battle in Winnipeg. The visitors have already played twice including a loss to the Avs to start and then a comeback win over the Golden Knights. There will be a pair of familiar faces in the lineup for Los Angeles including old friend Joel Armia and Jeff Malott who at 29 years of age made the opening night roster of an NHL club. After four seasons with the Moose the Ontario product has a lot of friends who are happy for his success but as Morgan Barron shared with us on Friday they’ll be happy if he is successful in all games that don’t involve Winnipeg.

The home team is looking to tighten things up after things got loose in the home opener against Dallas.
