Game 2: Stars 4 Jets 1 post-game recap

The Jets drop the second game of the season by a final score of 4-1 to the Stars in Dallas. Winnipeg will not to 82-0-0 this season.

Notable:

The top line got things started as Mark Scheifele opened the scoring for the second straight game with an absolute blistering shot top corner. Gives him three goals on the season. Scheifele (233) is also just six goals back of Blake Wheeler who sits in top spot on the Jets 2.0 all time goals scored list with 239.

With that assist on the Jets opening goal Kyle Connor moved ahead of Andrew Ladd with 167 apples. That puts him into sole possession of 9th place. This is Jets 2.0/Thrashers combined. If you go Jets 2.0 alone, he is 6th all time.

A middle frame to forget for the Jets as they got scored on twice by the Stars.
