Game 2 of pre-season post-game recap: Oilers 7 Jets 3

The Oilers, with a veteran team, were riding in Edmonton as they beat down the Jets scoring seven goals on Eric Comrie who was making his first start of the pre-season.  Ty Rattie finished with five points (2G 3A) on the night.

Andrew Copp had a goal and assist while Marko Dano scored a goal in his second consecutive game.

No time for the Jets to dwell on this one as the team will return to Winnipeg tonight and prepare to face the Calgary Flames here in Winnipeg on Friday night.

Coach Maurice:  What did he see from his team?  Who were some of the guys who stood out for him positively?  Thoughts on Sami Niku’s camp so far.  Benefit for young players to play against McDavid.
