The Jets conclude this short two-game road trip to start the season tonight in Dallas as they take on the Stars. After disposing of the Blues on Thursday night the Jets are looking to keep things rolling as Connor Hellebuyck picked up where he left off last season making 41 saves in the victory.
The Jets using the optional skate option as per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun and coach Maurice has confirmed he will use the same lineup they used last game:
Connor – Scheifele – Wheeler
Perreault – Little – Laine
Copp – Lowry – Tanev
Vesalainen – Roslovic – Ehlers
Morrissey – Trouba
Chiarot – Byfuglien
Morrow – Myers
Hellebuyck

Coach Maurice: What is the plan for morning skates? Not having a true day off since last Saturday, does that factor in? Status of Patrik Laine/Bryan Little. How does Heiskanen change the Stars back end? Does he notice any changes to the Dallas game plan with the new coach? Does he expect the wide-open nature of the Jets/Stars games of the past to continue? Any rhyme or reason to Laine’s success against Dallas?
