A clash of titans? Perhaps it is a bit early for that but both the Jets and Stars come into today’s action undefeated. Of course Winnipeg has played one game and Dallas just two so as I indicated perhaps a tad premature.
Most notable is that due to Rick Bowness coming down with covid last week he will not be behind the bench when he faces his former team instead it will be associate coach Scott Arniel leading the way.
Skate news:
As per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press who is at American Airlines Arena in Dallas there are no lineup changes expected for the Jets as they are rolling the same as they used in game 1.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor-Scheifele-Ehlers
Perfetti-Dubois-Wheeler
Barron-Lowry-Appleton
Maenalanen-Gustafsson-Gagner
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Stanley-Scmidt
Hellebuyck
Rittich
Betway Odds:
As I alluded to above both of these clubs are feeling good about themselves by virtue of the fact that they are undefeated on the season. Should be an excellent goalie matchup between established Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck and up and coming Jake Oettinger. As you can see the odds remain close between these two clubs which isn’t a surprise although the edge goes to the home club for tonight’s game. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
