Cole Perfetti scored his first goal since the end of October to open the scoring in the game just 1:32 into the 1st period. That meant Perfetti hits double digits for points for first time in his career.

Somehow the refs allowed the Stars game tying goal with 18.5 seconds left in the 3rd to stand despite the fact that Connor Hellebuyck’s helmet fell off.
