The Jets are streaking having won five of their last six games and are 8-2-2 in their last 12 games which has them sitting 3rd in the Central Division just two points ahead of their opponents this evening as the Coyotes have gone 5-3-2 in their last ten.
Recall news:
The Jets announced they have recalled Dominic Toninato on an emergency basis.
Skate news:
The Jets will hold a very optional skate and associate coach Scott Arniel will speak around 10:30 ish. We do know that Laurent Brossoit will get the start in net. The only other question seems to be if the team will insert Nate Schmidt back in the lineup for Logan Stanley.
For now lines and D pairs are based on yesterday’s game.
Warm-up:
Nate Schmidt was on the ice and Logan Stanley was not.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor-Scheifele-Iafallo
Perfetti-Namestnikov-Ehlers
Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton
Barron-Gustafsson-AJF
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt
Brossoit
Hellebuyck
Betway Odds:
Despite the fact that the Coyotes were sitting comfortably in Winnipeg watching the Jets and Sabres do battle the oddsmakers are giving a pretty big edge to the home team in this contest. The goal differentials are essentially the same. Arizona is a 4-4-2 road team while Winnipeg have gone 5-3-1 at home. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.
