The Jets will look to continue their winning ways at home (currently 7-2-1) having gone 2/2 on this current four game home stand when the Capitals come to town in a battle of old Southeast Division rivals. The defending Stanley Cup champions had lost two in a row before last night’s game in St. Paul when they beat the Wild 5-2.

Coach Maurice: Going with the same lineup tonight? On Ben Chiarot and whether in pre-season there was an open competition to partner with Dustin Byfuglien? Is there any surprise at the fit? Can’t just plug any player beside Byfuglien? What has Nic Petan added to the 4th line? On Petan’s comfort on the wing.
