An improbable game as the Jets took a one goal lead on Mathieu Pereault’s game opening goal but then the Golden Knights scored three times in under four minutes. There were fights and good chances but the middle frame would solve nothing. Mathieu Perreault would get his second of the game which came on the power play to bring the Jets within one. Three minute later Winnipeg would tie it up on a controversial goal. Kyle Connor “beat out” an icing and then fed Mark Scheifele who tied it up. The Jets controlled OT which ended with Patrik Laine dropping the puck to Kyle Connor who scored five-hole to win it.
Jets improve to 8-7-0 this season. They’ve won three of their last four games.
