Notable:
It was a good opening period but neither team could solve the opposing goalie.
The Jets got things started on the power play as Josh Morrissey lost his Cy Young bid with his first goal of the season which gave him 1G 9A (he would add another).
Then who else but Adam Lowry with a shorthanded goal to make it a 2-0 game. His third goal of the season and second shorty.
Another power play marker as Pierre-Luc Dubois scored his fifth of the season to take a 3-0 lead.
Arvid Soderblom made way for Dylan Wells who made his NHL debut to start the 3rd period.
And then in the 3rd it was time for Mambo No. 5 as Nate Schmidt finished off a perfect pass by Cole Perfetti to make it 4-0. Meant the Jets were 3/3 on the power play.
Connor Hellebuyck picked up his 30th NHL shutout and second of the season.
Multi point game:
Josh Morrissey: 1G 1A
Pierre-Luc Dubois: 1G 1A
