Game 11: Jets 2 Red Wings 1 post-game recap

The Jets began this four game road trip with a 2-1 win against the Wings and now sport a 7-3-1 record which is good enough for second in the Western Conference.  Quick transition for Winnipeg as they fly to Toronto looking for revenge on Saturday night after suffering a 4-2 defeat at Bell MTS Place on Wednesday night.

– Laurent Brossoit made 27 saves to improve to 3-0 for the Jets;
– Kyle Connor tied Mark Scheifele with the team lead in goals with his fifth which tied the game;

Jets will take on the Leafs Saturday night in Toronto.  Quite the contrast in the last week between these two squads as Toronto played last Saturday then played Wednesday in Winnipeg and won’t play again until Saturday night against the Jets.  Compare that to Winnipeg who had games scheduled those same three days but also played the Blues on Monday and Red Wings on Friday.
