Game 1 of pre-season post-game recap: Jets 2 Wild 1

The first preseason game ends with a Jets victory.  Big stand out was the goaltending of Laurent Brossoit who played a solid game in his Winnipeg debut making 39 saves on 40 shots in the victory.  About the only other notable player was Brendan Lemieux who set up Marko Dano’s opening goal and dropped the gloves in the 3rd period.

The Jets return to training camp mode for the next couple of days and then kick off six games in eight days when they head to Edmonton to play the Oilers on Thursday night.
