Friedman Report: Winnipeg Jets have acquired Vladislav Namestnikov from Sharks

Friedman saying it is for a mid round draft pick for Vladislav Namestnikov. In 57 games for Tampa the forward has six goals and nine assists.

LeBrun reporting that it is a 2025 4th rounder going back the other way. Dreger says this takes Winnipeg out of the mix for the services of James van Riemsdyk of the Flyers.

This is quite the circle of life as Namestnikov was recently acquired by the Sharks for former Jets/Moose forward Mikey Eyssimont in a trade between San Jose and Tampa. He never played any games for the Sharks.

Namestnikov would have played for current Jets head coach Rick Bowness last year in Dallas.
