Friedman Report: Winnipeg Jets acquiring Nino Niederreiter from Preds

As per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet the Jets are acquiring winger Nino Niederreiter from the Nashville Predators.  The return is a 2024 2nd round pick accoring to Friedman.

In 56 games with Nashville he has 18 goals and 10 assists.

The Swiss pro has spent this season with the Preds but has 788 NHL games under his belt with Carolina, Minnesota and New York (Islanders) who drafted him 5th overall back in 2010.

As per CapFriendly he has a cap hit of $4,000,000 with one year remaining on his contract after this year.
