It will be back to the west coast for former Jets interim/assistant coach Dave Lowry who wasn’t brought back to Winnipeg following the conclusion of the 2021-22 season. It was announced today that he is joining the Kraken as an assistant coach as part of head coach Dave Hakstol’s staff.
The Kraken finished their first season in the NHL with a 27-49-6 record.
Dave Lowry spent two seasons in Winnipeg and three in Manitoba as he was the head coach of the WHL Wheat Kings in 2019-20. It gave him an opportunity to be close to his son Adam who was drafted by the Jets in 2011 and been playing for the team since the 2014-15 season.

As I said this is back to the west coast for Lowry who spent five seasons in the WHL with the Victoria Royals.
