Former Winnipeg Jets goalie Laurent Brossoit signs two-year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks

Netminder Laurent Brossoit signed in Winnipeg for the 2023-24 season and had an absolutely fantastic season as he sought to establish himself as a potential started for another NHL team. It was for a very reasonable 1.75 AAV. He went 15-5-2 with a .927 save% and a 2.00 GAA.

Brossoit was a big part of the Jets winning the William Jennings Trophy although his name wasn’t added because he didn’t hit the 25 game threshold.

Now he has himself a new deal with the Chicago Blackhawks for two years at $3.3 million as per Frank Servalli.
