The Jets brought defensively responsible forward Saku Mäenalanen back from the Finnish league after he returned to Liiga following his one season in North America during the 2018-19 season with the Carolina Hurricanes organization.
He played in 64 games for Winnipeg scoring four goals and adding six assists during his time where he also spent time as a penalty killer for Rick Bowness squad. He also played five playoff games for the Jets in their first round series with the Golden Knights.
