Former Moose forward Evan Polei signs with Lehigh Valley Phantoms

After two seasons in Manitoba with the Moose forward Evan Polei will be heading east as the Albertan has signed with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms who are the farm club of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Polei made up 1/3 of the Lunch Pail Line alongside Nicholas Jones and Cole Maier. Although with the departure of Polei, it leaves only his childhood friend Jones as the lone remaining member of that line on the team with Maier off to the DEL next season.

Polei played 114 games for Manitoba scoring 19 goals while adding 24 assists for 43 points.

As much as the big Albertan will be missed by his teammates the true star will be his pup Denver who made an appearance or two during media availabilities.

Jacob Stoller of The Hockey News had this weeks ago and the teams made it official today.
