Former Jets assistant coach and Moose head coach Pascal Vincent hired by Laval Rocket

Less than a month ago the Blue Jackets let former Jets assistant and Moose head coach Pascal Vincent go after just one year as the bench boss in Columbus. He took over in difficult circumstances after the team parted ways with Mike Babcock in September which was just before the 2023-24 season got underway.

Vincent, who is from Laval and got his start both as a player and coach in the QMJHL in his home province, was often mentioned as a possible candidate to lead the farm club of Montreal.

Today that is a reality as the Laval Rocket announced that he would be the new head coach of his hometown team.

If Moose fans are wondering when they might see Vincent with his new team it will be as follows:

In Laval on February 19th and 21st and then in Manitoba on April 1st and 2nd.
