Five players clear waivers, assigned to the Manitoba Moose

Yesterday the Jets made their big cut as they reduced their training camp roster by 15, five of whom required clearing waivers before they could be assigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

As per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet there were no waiver claims which means Cam Schilling (D), Dennis Everberg (F), Seth Griffith (F), Nic Kerdiles (F) and JC Lipon (F) have now all cleared waivers and are assigned to the Moose.

These five players will definitely bolster a Moose squad that is looking to make some noise again this season after a stellar 2017-18.

The Jets are now at 27 players left in training camp.  Logan Stanley and Michael Spacek are still with the big club as both are reportedly dealing with injury but will likely be re-assigned once they are healthy getting the Jets down to 25.  They have to get down to 23 before the season begins.
